Reconnect through the wisdom of the herd 

In this workshop Sicelo Mbatha and Marion Latour combine their forces and will facilitate an immersive experience in Presence & Inter-being with horses. You will experience to listen to what emerges when we go beyond intention. By letting go, we will connect to the field of being, the essence that unifies everything. 

Horses live fully in the here and now, and deeply within the “we.” In nature, a horse cannot survive alone—its strength lies in the herd. For over 65 million years, horses have thrived on Earth through their ability to sense, attune, and live collectively. 

With their highly sensitive perception, horses see both the individual and their role within the whole. They invite us into presence, into connection—with ourselves, each other, and the more-than-human world.

In this outdoor workshop, you’ll be guided by three Friesian horses—Tamar, Jurre, and Aura—who live together as a small herd in Gieten. No prior experience with horses is needed; they will simply be with us, as we are with them.

Through personal inquiry, systemic constellations, and grounded practical exercises, we will explore stillness, awareness, and relational presence in a fragmented world.

Trainers  Sicelo Mbatha is spiritual nature guide from South Africa and author of  the book “Black Lion”. As a nature and wilderness guide Sicelo fosters deep connections between humans, the horses and nature. Marion Latour is a systemic facilitator, trainer, coach at the Bert Hellinger Institute. Marion is also a skilled trainer in working with the systemic wisdom of horses. She facilitates systemic workshops with horses on both personal and organizational issues of individuals and teams.
