We are happy to share our knowledge and experience, as far as it is available to us!
The Bert Hellinger Institute Netherlands (BHIN) has been the training, knowledge and research center for systemic work since 2000. In the first few years, we primarily focused on providing training and doing constellations in the Netherlands. By now it is impossible to imagine us not being part of the systemic international world! Every day we offer workshops, training courses and in-company training courses at home and abroad.
Our field of activity is broad and focuses on companies and organizations, personal development, illness and health, education and societal issues. In all these sectors we jointly investigate the various themes that want to be addressed.
Our scope is therefore wide in all respects. Nevertheless, or perhaps thanks to, we provide an environment in which participants feel at home. A place where growth is possible. Where every individual, every pattern and every system is welcome. Where potential can flow.
In the Netherlands we were at the cradle of the first developments in systemic work. The very first systemic training in the Netherlands was given by Jan Jacob Stam, in Almen. Despite our long experience, every constellation is new, every course different. We are in a field of movement. In a certain way we therefore consider ourselves as co-participants. We are constantly making new discoveries and eagerly watching the developments in this work.

The BHIN was founded in 2000 by Jan Jacob Stam and Bibi Schreuder in close contact with Bert Hellinger. Since 2015 Barbara Hoogenboom joined as co-owner and the BHIN continued with three owners. As per September 2020, Jan Jacob is standing next to BHIN as the ‘friendly neighbor’ and continuous his work from a new venture. Bibi and Barbara are the current owners of the BHIN.
In addition to them, there are many domestic and foreign affiliated trainers who are working at and with our institute. We also have a number of essential employees at the office. Last but not least, we have a host and a hostess who take really good care of the ‘inner being’, meaning we normally also enjoy very tasty food.
Together we form a close team that stands for quality and development.
